As part of the mission of the PPFOA is to help to maintain places nearest and dearest to Padre Pio, we have embarked on many special projects in his beloved hometown. Here we have begun renovating lights in the historical areas where Padre Pio grew up. This is the church where he celebrated his first Mass. The rooster on top of the church has not been lit up for over 30 years and thanks to the PPFOA benefactors, we were able to fund this project.
