Father David Beaumont, a Capuchin missionary priest, has devoted over three decades to serving indigenous communities in northern Mexico, including the Pimas, Mayos, Yaquis, and Guarijíos. Inspired by Padre Pio, Father David began his religious journey early, becoming an altar boy at 10, entering the novitiate at 15, and being ordained at 18. Upon his arrival in remote mountain villages lacking basic infrastructure, he immersed himself in the local cultures, learning native languages and becoming a trusted spiritual and community leader.
Beyond his pastoral duties, Father David translated essential religious texts into native languages and collaborated with government entities to bring running water and initiate sustainable farming projects. His efforts have led to the construction of chapels, spirituality centers, and seminaries, ensuring the continuation of religious education and services. The Padre Pio Foundation of America has supported his mission for the past 15 years, aiding in building infrastructure to secure the future of these communities.
We are open Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM (EST) and the First Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM unless it coincides with a national holiday.
